Want to experience an Ultra too, without wearing a bib? Well, the Verbier Ultra's vision is to offer all members involved in the VU an opportunity to learn and excel at every level! We sincerely thank you for wanting to be part of it!

OUR VISION 

The ULTRA experience: a must-see weekend for runners, spectators, partners and volunteers. The Verbier Ultra is all about community, and its vision is to provide an opportunity for all members involved in the event's success to excel at every level.

 

VOLUNTEER MISSION

We are looking for volunteers for several key positions to ensure the smooth running of the event. Here are the main positions to be filled:

  • Trail markers
    Marking the Bagnes Traverse trails

  • Bib Pick-Up Station

      Welcome participants, hand out race bibs and answer questions.

  • Info Point

       Welcome runners, volunteers and spectators, answer their questions.

  • Cabane Louvie Checkpoint
    Set up and manage the Cabane Louvie checkpoint, keep track of runners' refreshment needs, scan race numbers as they pass.

  • Croix de Coeur Checkpoint
    Set up and manage the checkpoint, monitor runners' refreshment needs.

  • Bagnes - Stand de Tir Checkpoint
    Set up and manage the checkpoint, monitor runners' refreshment needs, scan race numbers as they pass.

  • Cabane de Mille Checkpoint
    Set up and manage the Cabane de Mille checkpoint, monitor runners' refreshment needs.

  • Ecurie La La Checkpoint
    Set up and manage the checkpoint, monitor runners' refreshment needs.

  • Cabane Chanrion Checkpoint
    Set up and manage the checkpoint at the Cabane de Chanrion, and monitor runners' refreshment needs.

  • Shuttle coordination

       Directing riders to the shuttle buses to Cabane Brunet from Le Châble.

  • Cabane Brunet Coordination Assistance  
    Ensure smooth and efficient movement at Cabane Brunet.

  • Base Camp assistance
    Help set up the race village in Bonatchiesse.  Ensure smooth operation and efficient circulation of our guest at the Base Camp.

  • Speaker
    Welcome runners at theFinish-Line on Sunday. 

  • Drop-Bag Area

      Hand out participants' Drop-Bags.  

  • Post-race meal station

        Help the catering team serve the post-race meal to runners and volunteers.

  • Samaritans
    You are Samaritan and want to join our medical team, we always need more Samaritans to ensure the safety of our runners.

  • Photographer/Videographer
    If you're an artist who wants to add Trail content to your portfolio, we'd love to have you join our team of Photographers and Videographers. In particular, we're looking for a photographer to capture each runner on the trails, to give them a souvenir of this challenge! If you have anything else to offer, we're open to it, as long as you can also excel at the Verbier Ultra!

 

ULTRA-VOLUNTEER GUIDE

Once all our ULTRA-VOLUNTEERS have been assigned to their missions, we'll provide you with the Complete Guide for your mission. In the meantime, here's a glimpse of the information that might interest you!

 

MEALS AND COLLECTIONS

Volunteers will have access to meals for the duration of their mission. If you have dietary restrictions, we recommend that you bring your own snacks.

CAMPING AND LODGING

Camping is available for volunteers, with free pitches for those who need them for their mission.

AFTER THE EVENT

We invite you to our classic ULTRA-Pizza Party the week after the event, to celebrate and share the stories of our Ultra-Weekend, date to be confirmed!
