PASSIONATE TRAIL RUNNERS

The Verbier Ultra finds its roots among a group of passionate trail friends. From day one, these dedicated volunteers within the association 'Les Coureurs UltraSolidaires' have contributed to turning this dream into reality. The Verbier Ultra, born in 2023, is the result of their ideas, passion, and collective motivation to promote Verbier and the Val de Bagnes as a must-visit trail destination in Europe.

After the great success of the first edition, which attracted over 150 participants, the team shares an even deeper vision for the community: to push limits, savor the raw aspects of trail running, and experience authenticity in the Val de Bagnes. Together, as friends of the trails, they have come with a new concept to infuse it with a sustainable dimension, in harmony with the local economy and regional tourism stakeholders. Their goal is not only to ensure the event's sustainability but also to offer a unique experience in the region. This is where the Bagnes Traverse edition comes to life, an even more pure and raw experience that allows participants to return to the essentials for a weekend.
